Kelly, Shopping, and Mr. Schuester

There are very few people that I can stand for more than a few days and this girl is one of them.

Not only is she gorgeous, but she is fun to be around and can enjoy my obsession for Michael Kors, food, and Kelly Clarkson. :) We have gone on vacation together before, and lets just say that she is the perfect person to travel with. Not only will she go shopping for any reason at any time, but she will make house calls to do your hair and cuddle/read kindles together in bed. I seriously love her to death.

Anyway, she came in town for a couple of days to visit and the first night we went to the Kelly Clarkson concert. We both thought the concert was going to be good (half of Kelly's songs can pretty much sum up our highschool years and our current dating lives in the past few years lol) but it was definitely not what we expected. She was AMAZING! From Britney Spears cover songs to Blake Shelton to Reba McIntire (yes I said Reba), it was one of the best concerts ever! Especially all the cute gay guys dancing! Not to mention how we were stalking the couple in front of us who were fighting the whole time. It was like watching a tela novela set with awesome background music.

The next day we went to the Grove and went shopping. And I got my birthday present from Leah. Mario Lopez and these gorgeous MK rings. Oh, and some red velvet cheesecake (yum!)

But the best part of the whole weekend was..... (drum roll).... Mr. Schuester. We were at the airport waiting at the gate when I pretty much saw Leah go into shock. We looked over and saw Matthew Morrison at our gate. Let's just say, he is soooo much hotter in person. I stalked his ass like the paparazzi to prove to a certain someone (aka Ashley Barnes) that he was real, and I must say, I might have another profession if writing doesn't work out.

friday night.

Growing up sucks. Especially when your Friday night comes to doing laundry and cooking a meal. For yourself. I can't believe I go through that much laundry. I wish there was a cleaning fairy that would clean and do laundry. Maybe when I sell my first book or screenplay, I can hire someone to do it for me. Or I can pay my mom to live with me and my husband and she can do it. It always seems like moms like doing that stuff even though the say they hate it.

New Chapter. New Surprises.

I AM FINALLY IN LA!!! Yes, after years and years of saying that I am going to move, I have. I didn't realize how hard it was going to be at the time, but the payoff is going to be worth it. I am following my dreams and hope to catch it some time soon. Though I am sad to leave my girls in Vegas behind, I get to spend more time with family and new friends in LA. But there are some spots in my heart that will never be replaced. You know who you are.

Top ten highlights of the summer:

1. Visiting Grand Cayman and Jamaica

2. Graduting college

3. Learning the lesson of falling in love, and quickly falling out of it. (thank god!!)
4. Learning to live by myself
5. Spending time with the people I love
6. Watching some of the people I love get married
7. Beating the big BC with my momma
8. Watching General Conference
9. Going to I <3 radio with my bfffff

10. Learning the best places to shop in LA...

hey you can take the girl out of vegas but you can't take the vegas out of the girl. :)

The Exception.

I got to go to LA this weekend with my parents. We hadn't gone somewhere together as a family in years!! Probably since I was 11 or 12 years old. I forgot how funny my parents are. I hope that I find someone that I can laugh with that much and make fun of that much. They are truly the exception to the rule.

Dad and I got to chose paint colors for my apartment. I am so excited!! I have colors AND furniture! I feel like a grown up. But I would have to say that my favorite part of the whole trip was seeing Tracie and going to work with her. We got to walk around the Warner Bros lot and see the sound stage she works at. But the best part of the whole thing was this...

For those of you who are not obsessed as I am, we got to see the bar from True Blood!! I felt like i literally stepped into a movie. I wanted to go get some true blood and wanted to see a vampire appear out of the bushes. Cheesy I know but I was like a giddy school girl.

I really can't wait to move and be around my family more. I feel like I am being my life instead of being suck in a life where I am not doing what I love to do. I want to be one of those people that loves what they do, and is the exception to the rule. Three more months and counting!!

Furniture and Family.

I have been so stressed out at work lately. A trip to LA was exactly what I needed. My mom and I decided to go at last minute, which was fun. But little did we know that we would be driving into a snow storm.

I have never been so on edge for twenty minutes straight. But we got through it. I was so excited to get to see my sister. We hardly ever get to see each other, and I hadn't seen her since Layla and Leah were born. And let me tell you, if you are stressed out, the one thing that can get you out of it are faces like this.

All I want to do is kiss and bite their cheeks. A day with them is not enough for me. If anything spending time with them has shown me that life is too short to let people or situations get to you. Another thing I realized that day is twins are ALOT of work. I felt like I ran a marathon after I left there. But a good cleansing marathon. lol. But I love them to bits and whenever I am having a bad day I just look at a picture of them.

The second awesome thing I got to do is hang out with my cousins. Since I am moving there soon, we went furniture shopping. I thought that any shopping in general was easy, but going shopping for furniture is like going on a scavenger hunt. You have to literally find the perfect piece of furniture that fits you. After breakfast and three stops at other furniture stores, I found my couch!!!! It is so comfortable!! Tracy was able to get the whole set for really cheap and I was so excited. It was like my first big purchase without calling my mom lol. And I loved it.

Annoyed Love.

So the past few months have been amazing and horrible at the same time. I have finally decided that I am going to move back to LA after I graduate. I figured you only live once and I need to try and start my career out there before I decide if I want to live in Vegas for the rest of my life. Work sucks as usual. I miss the days where I was excited to go to work. But I have been trying to get back to that even though two of my favorite people in the world aren't there. My mom is feeling soooo much better. PLUS, I had a little vaca which I totally needed.

These girls have kept me sane. Cheesy but true. Through boy problems to me being sick to try being there to hear me vent to late night plane rides...they have been there. And we definitely have some more memories to add to the pile. I will love them forever, not just because I do but because if I don' they have alot of back mail on me too!! (aka Sadie). But I am especially grateful because I know that I will have these girls forever. I don't need a silly valentine or stupid flowers to know that someone loves me. And I definitely don't need to post pictures about it to annoy other people. So all in all, this year's Valentine's Day was a success. Even though there is someone that I secretly care about alot and haven't told, I leave it up to the love gods, and what ever happens, happens. Bottom line, I am trying to enjoy life and the people around me. So in honor of Valentine's Day I made a list of things that I love this year:

1. Muh girls. <3
2. My mom. (always a good valentine)
3. Birchbox. (my valentine present to myself)
4. My kindle. (what I did without it I don't know)
5. Michael Kors.
6. Forever 21.
7. Sundays.
8. The Bahamas
9. Romantic encounters.
10. Little everyday surprises.
11. Kissing. (even a kiss on the cheek).
12. Kim Kardashian. (I strive for a butt like hers)
13. Sunday nights with the girls
14. Nick Minaj

and last but not least....

15. Coke.
